2011 has brought so much change to my life, both good and bad. There has been much happiness and joy along with much sorrow and anger. But in the end, I'm still here with wonderful friends and an amazing girlfriend who care about and love me, and I feel as if I'm much happier overall. Next year I don't know where I'll be, with college and everything in the future so undecided yet, but I just hope I'll be as happy as I am now.
Thank you guys for sticking with me through some tough times, and for still sticking with me as we all take on another year. I hope everyone has another amazing year! Cheers to 2012!

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

Saw this movie on Friday, and was a little bit cautious about it because of the first one, but I was very pleasantly surprised. You know how sequels are never better than the original? Totally not true on this movie.
(CONTAINS SOME SPOILERS)
First and foremost in my mind was accuracy to the books/short stories, and the original Holmes personification. The first movie was a pretty good movie as a standalone movie, but as a Holmes adaptation, it was extremely weak. Aw, thanks! The only one I've made entirely from scratch is my Juliet cosplay, but all the others I've found pieces to put together and messed around with them a bit to make them more accurate. I'm hoping to do more sewing of whole costumes in the future. I do style all my wigs on my own, though! I love doing wigs, haha.
